For one of the projects . I needed to have a drop down list control.  I just needed the dropdownlist 
control . I did not want the list box that would appear when its clicked. I wanted to display a 
value in the textbox by default. 

Tried Different Properties of the control 
Tried Style property . 
Tried CSS. 

Finally I had to use an image insted of the control. if any one can find a better solution please
