Visual Sudio .NET 2005 the imported project file could not be loaded. root element is missing this error occurs when I try to open or create new project using visual studio .net 2005. 


Wait donot reinstall VS or reinstall frame work I tried both and nothing happened

all u have to do is delete the .user file. 

it just stores VS settings for the project 

Open the project and lo. It works :)
